ScientistAs a scientist at ESQlabs, I aim to build and apply advanced computational models in PBBM and PBPK, thus enabling better decision-making and more efficient regulatory submissions during drug development for our industrial partners.
Previously, I was the lead developer and consultant for biopharmaceutics modeling software at Siemens' gPROMS. I improved model performance, scoped new features from the latest scientific literature and partner data, and programmed and validated new PBBM models. I focused on the effects of formulation properties and physiological factors on solubility, dissolution-precipitation, and absorption. Some interesting models and applications I worked on included mechanistic disintegration, surfactant solubilization, complex speciations such as self-associating compounds, and supersaturating formulations like ASDs.
I also leverage my skills in machine learning, data analysis, and Python to provide enhanced analytics and flexibility from the simulation results.
With a master's in chemical engineering from UCL (my master's thesis was on molecular dynamics), I have a strong background in modeling and simulation, process optimization, physical chemistry, and renewable technology.
